TV manufacturers need a reason to keep the prices of TVs high.

patricklacelle July 30, 2010 at 11:37 pm

Sony bravia got the sound thing not the dolby thoe but they did somthing named Voice zoom wich fixes the problem of sound, good stuff thoe .

wilburfudd July 31, 2010 at 1:27 am

Im cheep, can you show a tv that is $1,000 or less.

alecton July 31, 2010 at 1:56 am

FINALLY!!! Dolby Volume!!!!! It’s very inconvenient to watch movies at night when I have free time but I can’t wake up my parents. Once I had to rip the audio of a movie and compress the sound wave so there wouldn’t be any difference between whispering and explosions. I appreciate Studios showing off their dynamic range, but sometimes practicality trumps novelty.
