VoIP 101 for Business: What Buyers & Sellers Need to Know

by DTV Star on April 25, 2011

Speaking to an audience of independent distributors (telecom agents, channel partners & solution providers) author & educator Steven Sheppard gives a detailed 40-minute analysis of the pros & cons small businesses owners and decision makers need to be properly consulted about before they can "buy into" and benefit from adapting any VoIP solution or migration strategy into their businesses communication and technology suites. The presentation was delivered in August 2006 at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo and was sponsored by XO communications. The video was recorded and edited by Telecom Association. Just because you don’t own the equipment doesn’t mean you can’t make money providing management services for it…. That’s a very clever way of looking at it.

This is very informative and it is a nice, more in depth explanation compared to some other over simplified explanations.

I really liked your channel and this video. If you need any help getting this video exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.

I like what i watched.

Our business is with fastmetrics managed voip now. It was a seamless migration from our standard pbx system. We kept our same phone numbers and the service is fully managed from the get-go. We saved $ with unlimited free calls to the us and canada and dirt cheap o/s rates. Smart phones too, with features like call attendant, which cuts out the need for a receptionist.

Tellingulikeitis May 2, 2010 at 4:09 am

You mother is a piece of shit. And you are the turd that came out of her ass. BIOTCH!!!

propertii May 2, 2010 at 5:04 am

its funny how pieces of shit like you spend their time online running their mouth to look tough but are never seen in person, what are you in fucking highschool? grow up bitch and next you are gonna use your mommy’s computer, get permission first.

propertii May 2, 2010 at 5:51 am

wow, you are a fucking idiot. the ironic thing is that you must suck a mean dick yourself to be able to estimate how well someone else can do it. You sit in front of your computer and brainstorm witty things to say, except you cant say it because you cant talk with a dick in your mouth so you type instead.
